Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After your breakfast at your accommodation you will drive to Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during the dry season. Tarangire is famously known for some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa. After a picnic lunch, you will do an afternoon game drive and be accommodated in your comfortable tented camp.

Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will continue towards the fertile highlands where wheat, coffee and corn are grown by the local people. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to see the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater before travelling onwards to the Serengeti National Park which you will reach by midday. The Serengeti is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats. Here the biggest wildebeest and zebra migration takes place and depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals on their search for food and water.

Full Day in Serengeti
After breakfast you will head out for an en-route game drive through the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard — before embarking on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves offering you an uninterrupted game viewing experience. Arriving at the edge of the crater you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day — open grassland and an infinite number of animals.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Very early in the morning, descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth, nicknamed the Garden of Eden since it is inhabited by both animals and human beings. After lunch inside the crater, drive up the steep road out of the crater and return to Arusha. You will arrive back in Arusha at 5:00 pm where, according to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport.
