7-Day Great Migration Safari
The ultimate Northern Circuit experience.

Stunning 5-day safari to the four magnificent destinations of Tanzania's gateway tourist circuit — Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Parks.
Launch from Arusha into Lake Manyara's soda shores alive with flamingo legions, elephant parades and the rare thrill of tree-climbing lions. Surge onward to the Serengeti's infinite plains. Plunge 600m into Ngorongoro Crater's verdant caldera — a UNESCO Noah's Ark brimming with 30,000 beasts. Cap your quest in Tarangire's baobab labyrinth.
Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. After entrance formalities we head into the park for an afternoon game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake covering two thirds of the park, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals including one of Africa's largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara's unique tree-climbing lions (rare) as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
Lodge (Full Board)After breakfast, you will continue towards the fertile highlands where wheat, coffee and corn are grown. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to see the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater before travelling onwards to the Serengeti National Park which you will reach by midday. The Serengeti is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountains. Here the biggest wildebeest and zebra migration takes place. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to your campsite.
Tented Camp (Full Board)After breakfast at the camp, go for a predator tour then game en-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti is habitat for an abundance of wildlife — impalas, buffalo, crocodiles and hippos — but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra and wildebeest. Predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs are always lurking close by. Continue to a lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater rim.
Lodge (Full Board)After breakfast we descend 600m into the magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's remaining black rhino. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and later game en-route towards the Rift Valley escarpment.
Lodge (Full Board)After breakfast at your camp, you depart for Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the Tarangire River and is made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation consists mainly of acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees. Tarangire is famously known for some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa. After a picnic lunch, you will do an afternoon game drive en-route back to Arusha for dinner or late lunch awaiting airport transfer.
