Arrival at Kilimanjaro / Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our dedicated driver will be waiting for you. You will arrive at our comfortable hotel where a delicious meal awaits. Following that, you will receive a pre-trekking briefing from our experienced mountain organisers.

Hotel to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Drive to the Londorossi Park Gate after breakfast, then start hiking to Mti Mkubwa Camp via the forest trails. See wildlife along the way. When you arrive, enjoy lunch, unwind until dinnertime and receive an orientation for the following day's hike.

Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1
Trek through moorlands to Shira Camp 1, taking in views of the Kibo volcano. After lunch, relax until dinner and pick up your hiking schedule for the following day.
Shira Camp 1 (3,500m)4
Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2
Proceed to Camp 2, taking in expansive views of Africa. After dinner, take a nap and get briefed for the next day.

Shira Camp 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Climb to the top of Lava Tower (4,600m) for acclimatisation, then descend to Barranco Camp. Discover gorgeous scenery and rocky terrain.

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Climb the legendary Barranco Wall and make your way to Karanga Valley. At Karanga Camp, savour dinner and do an acclimatisation hike.

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Trek up through rocky terrain to reach Barafu Camp. After receiving a summit briefing for the following day, relax until dinner.

Barafu Camp – Summit – Mweka Camp
Begin your summit attempt around midnight. Trek up through rocky terrain to Uhuru Peak — the roof of Africa at 5,895m. Savour the incredible views before beginning your descent to Mweka Camp.

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Hotel
Descend to Mweka Gate and transfer to the hotel in Moshi for lunch and relaxation. Express gratitude through tips and celebrate your expedition's success.
