Fly In from Zanzibar – 2 Days
Shorter Zanzibar fly-in to Tarangire & Ngorongoro only.

This 4-day safari adventure from Zanzibar takes you to three of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife destinations. Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti, where you explore the endless plains and enjoy thrilling game drives in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and many other animals.
The safari continues to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable concentration of wildlife and stunning natural beauty — before finishing with Tarangire National Park, famously known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Travelling with a professional guide in a private 4×4 safari vehicle, this short safari is the perfect addition to your Zanzibar holiday.
Your African adventure begins bright and early with a morning pickup at your Zanzibar hotel at 6:00 am. A comfortable transfer takes you to Zanzibar Airport for your 7:45 am flight to the Serengeti's Seronera Airstrip. The flight may transit through Arusha before landing in central Serengeti in the late morning. Upon landing, game drives begin immediately — into the afternoon, then a lunch at the lodge or a bush picnic — followed by an evening game drive with a surreal Serengeti sunset.
Mbuni Serengeti Camp (Full Board)After breakfast, you continue with the game drive. You have the option to do a full-day game drive or divide sessions into an early morning then evening slot with a relaxed afternoon at the camp. For those wishing to maximise wildlife sightings, we recommend heading out for the whole day. The central Serengeti — the Seronera Valley — is one of the best year-round areas for predator sightings, with resident lion prides, leopards in the acacia trees, and cheetahs hunting across the open plains.
Mbuni Serengeti Camp (Full Board)After breakfast, descend 600m into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world — home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's remaining black rhino. The wide variety of animals includes herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. A huge population of predators — lions, cheetahs, hyenas and elusive leopards — makes this one of Africa's most thrilling drives. We enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor by the hippo pool, then game en-route to the luxurious Furaha Luxury Lodge in the Karatu area.
Furaha Luxury Lodge Karatu (Full Board)After breakfast, drive to your final destination: Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor, with acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during the dry season — Tarangire is famously known for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. After a picnic lunch, enjoy another game drive before heading to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
